WE ARE NO LONGER PRODUCING CLOTHING IN BULK.
There are a number of environmental reasons and factors that made this an easy decision for us, which we will be going through in a series of future videos on social, but basically the services now exist to produce a garment ONLY when someone orders it and fulfil the delivery directly from our printers to your door. This model almost entirely eliminates our contribution to wasted or unwanted garments, and trust us, textile waste is a huge environmental problem right NOW.
Here's how it will work.
We'll release a lovely new design
We'll take pre-orders for the first delivery of this new design before a given deadline.
This order #1 goes to our printers, arrives back to our HQ in Fenit for everyone who has pre-ordered and then off to the happy new owners.
Following the first pre-order, the virtual garments will live on our web-store available for purchase at any stage and customers will receive it directly from the factory, printed JUST for you. It's efficient, refined but not without some challenges and behaviour changes, but we'll go through all of that in due course. We really hope that this model gets good support, because honestly, it's now necessary. Mass produced 'hauls' of fast fashion are bad, irresponsible even. We only want to make stuff for people who really want it.
We continue to choose 100% organic cotton and/or recycled polyester.
FW clothes come from factories who are GOTS approved.
Where possible, we try our best to print locally.
